Cristina Radulescu
Doctor of Integrative Medicine,
Ph. D. in Biochemistry, Master of Science in Biology
Director, Toronto Clinic for Preventive Medicine
Cristina Radulescu was born in Romania and attended the
University of Bucharest where she earned a Master of Science in Biology
and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. She began her career as a Junior Researcher
in the Institute of Biochemistry in Bucharest, moving on to the District
Polyclinic Hospital where she worked as a Biochemist. She then joined
the Faculty of Medicine of Bucharest as a Senior Biochemist Researcher
in the Department of Experimental Surgery and Pathology of the Fundeni
Teaching Hospital.
She immigrated to Canada in 1972 and subsequently worked in a number
of medical laboratories as the Laboratory Director.
Beginning in 1980, Cristina came across a number of medical doctors who were
practicing Environmental Medicine. She was so amazed with the efficiency of
the alternative procedures they were using that she decided to learn as much
as she could from seminars and workshops. She was additionally attracted to
the field because she had learned a great deal about natural therapies in
her day-to-day family life in Romania, especially from her grandfather, a
medical doctor who based most of his practice on natural remedies.
She met Dr. Majid Ali, an expert in environmental and preventive medicine,
in 1980 at a seminar where he was a keynote speaker. Afterwards, she attended
many of Dr. Ali's seminars and considered him to be the best teacher in
this field. She also attended ‘hands-on’ workshops at Dr.
Ali’s Institute of Preventive Medicine in Denver, New Jersey.
Due to her genuine interest in Alternative and Preventive Medicine, she
was invited by Dr. Ali to attend courses at the Capital University of
Integrative Medicine in Washington D.C. Enthusiastically, she accepted
the invitation, completed an extensive program of courses, and graduated
in 2000 with a Doctorate of Integrative Medicine. Later, she was invited
by Capital University to teach in two of her fields of expertise: (1)
Theories and Remedies of Dr. G. Enderlein using Darkfield Microscopy;
and (2) Practice and Principles of Intravenous Therapy.
Cristina's passion for Alternative Therapies has brought her outstanding
results at the clinic she founded in 1997. The Toronto Clinic for Preventive
Medicine combines traditional medicine and alternative remedies to provide
patients with a complete, holistic treatment for major diseases. Testimonials
from patients who have benefited from these therapies are available by
request and on the clinic’s website at www.prevmedclinic.com.
